Ergül Ergün

Ergül Ergün has been trained as a shiatsu practitioner at European School of Shiatsu and Shiatsu College in the UK for three years. She has taken courses on Traditional Chinese Medicine, Zen Shiatsu, Acupressure, Qigong, Moxibition, Western medicine in the complementary therapies, food and their energetic functions.

She participated postgraduate training seminars and workshops on back pain, anxiety and insomnia. Her dissertation is on migraine. Her qigong and shiatsu tutors included Cliff Andrews, Carola Beresford-Cooke, Helen Frankenberg, Chris Jarmey, Alec Jones, Paul Lundberg, Anne Palmer, Andrew Parfitt and Nicola Pooley.

She has participated qigong workshops organised by Wudang master İsmet Himmet and Emei qigong grandmaster Fu Wei Zhong in Turkey. She also attended Korean Hand Acupuncture seminars by Edith Heidelberger and work together with Seçkin Köknar on Spinal Qigong. She has been practicing meditation for twenty years and soto-zen for sixteen years  The colleges that she has studied and graduated from, the Shiatsu College, UK and European School of Shiatsu are accredited schools by the Shiatsu Society, UK.
